Charles Fipke homebred Ready for Shirl (More Than Ready–Perfect Shirl, by Perfect Soul) certainly honored her well-regarded bloodlines as she graduated on debut at Keeneland, which secured her ‘TDN Rising Star’ honors.

Off as a 7-1 shot, the 3-year-old filly bided her time as the leaders battled into the first turn and up the backstretch. However, the Roger Attfield trainee was locked and loaded at the top of the lane, and she showed her ability towards the center of the course by rolling home a multiple-length winner.

The final running time was 1:36.95.

Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0.

#9 READY FOR SHIRL ($17.86) pulled clear down the lane to make her first start a winning one in race 5 at Keeneland! @flothejock was in the irons for Roger Attfield and Charles Fipke.
