‘TDN Rising Star’ First Mission (c, 4, Street Sense–Elude, by Medaglia d’Oro), an impressive winner of Oaklawn’s GIII Essex H. at Oaklawn last out Mar. 23, took over from the Japanese invader T O Saint Denis (Jpn) (Kitasan Black {Jpn}) in deep stretch and drew off to win by an expanding three lengths over that rival in the slop in Friday’s GII Alysheba S. at Churchill Downs. Il Miracolo (Gun Runner) was third.

The even-money favorite stopped the timer for 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.03.
