Charlie Appleby also saddles Lucky Gift (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}), the first foal out of the high-class G2 Queen Mary S. and G2 Duchess Of Cambridge S. winner and dual Group 1 runner-up Raffle Prize (Ire) (Slade Power {Ire}), while among the opposition is Clipper Logistics’ River Seine (Ire) (Soldier’s Call {GB}), a Karl Burke-trained daughter of the G1 Coronation S. and G1 Cheveley Park S. heroine Indian Ink (Ire) (Indian Ridge {Ire}).

SYMBOL OF HONOUR (GB) (Havana Grey {GB}) caused a stir at Tattersalls Book 1 as a 600,000gns purchase and now starts for Godolphin’s Charlie Appleby stable. A half-brother to Whitsbury Manor Stud’s resident and disqualified G1 Commonwealth Cup winner Dragon Symbol (GB) (Cable Bay {Ire}), he is joined by the stable’s debut fourth Al Qudra (Ire) (No Nay Never), another pricey Book 1 graduate at 425,000gns.
