At Horseshoe Indianapolis on Thursday afternoon it was Baytown Boo Boo (Instagrand–Profound Legacy, by Proud Citizen) who collected the first win of his young sire’s career at stud.

The 2-year-old favorite came running out of the gate and set the pace along the rail. In a pitched battle with firster Special Creed (Jimmy Creed), the colt kept to the task around the far turn and down the lane began to steadily separate himself from his rival. The result was a less than a length score, while the final running time was :53.19.

Standing at Taylor Made Stallions, Instagrand has 135 foals of racing age to his credit.

Lifetime Record: 3-1-0-0.
