Godolphin homebred HIGHLAND FALLS (c, 4, Curlin–Round Pond, by Awesome Again) got by 7-1 shot Cagliostro (Upstart) in the final jumps to win Saturday’s GIII Blame S., the local prep for the GI Stephen Foster S. later this month. Favored at 4-5 in a scratched-down field off a second in last month’s GII Oaklawn H., the Brad Cox trainee sat third most of the running and just got in front of the late leader in the final yards of the Churchill Downs stretch to steal the win.
